This place was just a fitting option for a weekend jaunt in Charleston with good price-value balance. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly tasty with great options like warm grits and fresh fruit. Make sure to explore the courtyard for a nice spot to unwind.

The courtyard area was a lovely place to

Relax, and we really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour with great selections of wine and snacks. the noise from the lobby during the night was bothersome, making it hard for us to sleep soundly.

    antique feel
    wine and cheese hour
    perfect location
    humid room
    needs updates

My stay was primarily to explore the historical charm of Charleston, and this place delivered on that front. I loved the cozy, antique feel of the room, which added to the overall experience of being in a historic city. The wine and cheese hour was a delightful touch, and the location was perfect for walking to all the main attractions. However, the bathroom could use some updates, and the room felt a bit humid at times.

Great place for a relaxing stay

We had a lovely 2-night stay and really enjoyed the cute courtyard for breakfast. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. I loved chilling on the porch with nice views, but the coffee could've been better. Overall, a charming spot to unwind in the heart of the city!

    a/c noise

Staying at Meeting Street Inn felt like stepping into a charming piece of history, surrounded by Southern hospitality. The location couldn't be better for exploring Charleston. Minor issues existed with the A/C noise, but the good evening wine and cheese hour made up for it!

    charming stay but some inconsistencies

The evening wine service created a cozy atmosphere, and the big four poster bed provided great comfort. The staff's friendliness added a personal touch that made the experience even better.

However, the garden view could have been better maintained.
